What kind of leader do employees thrive under?

Design with Ease

Are you a mindful leader?

As an employee of managers and a manager to others also I can recognise the value of being trusted. Trusting your employees is becoming a more valued trait in managers.

Create a positive environment

Following up and looking over the shoulders of staff has shown to be ineffective at building a team spirit. Creating connection in your teams at work improves the creativity needed to make a company really special and to stand out amongst the crowd.

A really valuable way to create a team that works well together is a manager that inspires others.

Explain the vision clearly and in detail to everyone. Give employees a clear objective. A strong purpose offers a reason to achieve the goals. Choosing a purpose that really means something special. It can be how this project will improve the lives of customers for example. Can the team be caring in this venture together? Is the purpose rewarding so everyone can feel pride in their objectives. Is a sense of goodness and worthiness being fostered.

Mindful leaders create an open and safe environment where colleagues can genuinely offer their concerns for a certain project. Encourage feedback that can open up alternative pathways to achieving the goal. Acknowledgement goes a long way to creating a sense of inclusion. A great leader has developed an awareness of their own triggers and what can cause stress for them. They have self awareness and emotional intelligence and self management skills. They understand the need for employees to collaborate, to work together to solve issues and to create new services and products (#mindfulleader #mindfulmanager #mindfulwork)
